Terms of Service

Last updated: 09.09.2026

This page sets out the agreement between us when you use BiosHelp. By registering, buying a file, or checking out as a guest, you accept these terms.

Three things up front: the file you buy stays in your account permanently and can be re-downloaded without limit; the version you buy is locked to you; and because files are delivered instantly, there is no right of withdrawal. All three are explained below.

1. Parties

This agreement is between the business identified below ("BiosHelp", "we") and the person using the site ("user", "you").

2. Definitions

Some terms are specific to this platform:

Term Meaning
File A boardview, schematic, BIOS dump or HD Images package sold on the site
Version A specific revision of a file. A new revision of the same board is a separate product
Permanent archive The "My Files" section of a member account, where every purchased version stays indefinitely
Credit A prepaid download right. 1 credit = 1 file, even if the standard price changes
Escrow An optional marketplace flow where payment is held by the platform until the buyer confirms delivery

3. Accounts

  • Registration is free and not required: you can buy and download without an account.
  • The only difference an account makes is the permanent archive. On guest checkout the download link is shown on screen and emailed to you; that link is time-limited.
  • If you buy as a guest and later register with the same email address, your past purchases are automatically linked to your account.
  • You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe. Do not share your password; tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
  • One person, one account. Accounts may be closed if multiple accounts are used to obtain credit or campaign advantages.
  • You must be 18 or older to register.

4. Purchase and delivery

Access to the file opens the moment your payment is approved. There is no separate confirmation, shipping or waiting period — the service is performed instantly and entirely electronically.

Payments are processed by PayTR; your card details never reach us. If payment fails, no file access is granted and no charge is taken.

If you accidentally buy the same file twice, write to us; we will refund the second charge or convert it to a credit.

5. Your permanent archive — what you buy stays yours

This is the platform's core promise: every file you buy stays in your account for as long as your membership exists, and can be re-downloaded at any time, without limit and at no extra cost.

If your computer fails, your disk is wiped, or you simply lose the file, sign in and download it again. We put no time limit on this.

  • There is no cap on download count. Only a per-second rate limit applies to keep the service healthy — you will not notice it in normal use.
  • Your archive stays accessible even if the file is later withdrawn from sale.
  • If you close your own account, archive access ends with it. Download your files before closing.
  • If your account is suspended for breaching these terms, archive access is suspended too (see section 12).

6. Version locking

When you buy a file you acquire the version as it exists at the moment of purchase. That version sits in your archive and you may download it without limit.

If a newer revision of the same board is uploaded later, it is a new and separate product. Owning the old version does not entitle you to the new one; it must be purchased separately.

We state this plainly up front so there are no surprises. The product page shows which version you are buying, and it is recorded in your account.

7. Credits

  • Credit packages can be bought by members only.
  • 1 credit always equals 1 file. If the standard file price rises later, the value of credits you already hold does not fall.
  • Credits do not expire; they wait in your account.
  • Credits cannot be transferred to another account, sold, or exchanged for cash.
  • A file downloaded with a credit also goes into your permanent archive and can be re-downloaded.
  • An invoice is issued for credit purchases as well.

8. Prices and invoicing

  • Prices shown include VAT. The checkout page shows exactly what you will pay.
  • We may change prices. Changes are not retroactive: what you paid for a file does not change, and files already in your archive are never charged for again.
  • An e-Archive invoice is issued through the Turkish Revenue Administration for every sale. It appears as a PDF under My Invoices in your account and is emailed to you.
  • Invoices are issued under Turkish law for all sales, including buyers outside Türkiye.

9. Right of withdrawal and refunds

Because files are delivered instantly in electronic form, there is no right of withdrawal and no refund once a purchase is completed.

The legal basis is Article 15/1(ğ) of the Turkish Distance Contracts Regulation, which excludes the right of withdrawal for "services performed instantly in electronic form or intangible goods delivered instantly to the consumer". You are asked to confirm this at checkout; the purchase cannot complete without that confirmation.

The reason we can set this rule is simple: a downloaded file cannot be taken back. In exchange, our commitment to you is that the file stays in your account indefinitely — your payment buys permanent access, not a single download.

A faulty product is a different matter, and your statutory rights regarding defective performance are unaffected. Write to us in any of these cases and we will fix it at no charge:

  • The file is corrupt or will not open,
  • The file you downloaded does not match the product description (wrong model, wrong revision, missing content),
  • A technical fault prevented you from downloading it at all.

In these cases we first repair or replace the file with a correct one; if that is not possible we refund the amount or, if you prefer, credit your account. Send your request to within a reasonable time after purchase.

“I picked the wrong file”, “I changed my mind” and “I no longer need it” are not grounds for a refund. Please read the “What are you downloading?” box on the product page before buying: it states the file type, format, number of files and total size explicitly.

10. Licence

You may use the file you purchase in your own repair work and technical practice, indefinitely. This covers both personal and commercial use: using it to repair a customer's device in your own workshop is entirely fine.

What you receive is a right of use, not ownership of the file. The following are expressly prohibited:

  • Sharing the file with third parties or distributing it in email, Telegram or WhatsApp groups,
  • Uploading it to another site, forum or file-sharing service,
  • Reselling, renting, or distributing it as part of a bundle,
  • Giving your download link to someone else or sharing your account,
  • Bulk downloading with automated tools, or scraping the site,
  • Removing copyright or source information from the files.

Download links are signed and time-limited, and every download is logged. Where sharing is detected the account is suspended and archive access stops.

11. Intellectual property and rights-holder notices

The design, text, software and database of this site belong to BiosHelp.

Some technical files in the catalogue are compiled from manufacturer documentation or community sources. If you believe you hold rights in a file, write to with information supporting your claim. We review such notices promptly and remove the file where the claim is justified.

We act in good faith throughout that process; the aim is to protect rights holders.

12. Prohibited use and suspension

We may suspend your account — with or without warning, depending on severity — and close it in serious cases, if you:

  • Share or resell files,
  • Share an account, or use one account simultaneously from many different places,
  • Bulk download, scrape, or place excessive load on the system,
  • Commit payment fraud, use a stolen card, or file an unjustified chargeback,
  • Upload forged business documents or misleading listings,
  • Harass or abuse other users,
  • Attempt to test or bypass the security of the system.

We notify you by email when an account is suspended. If you believe the suspension is a mistake you may appeal; we will review it and restore the account if you are right.

Except in cases of payment fraud, we give you a reasonable window to download your archived files before an account is closed.

13. Business directory

  • Listing in the business directory is free.
  • You must upload a business licence and tax certificate when applying. These documents are never published; they are used only for verification.
  • A verified business receives the “Trusted Business” badge. The badge shows the business genuinely exists — it is not a guarantee of the quality of its work.
  • The business owner is responsible for the accuracy of directory information. Misleading entries are removed along with the badge.
  • BiosHelp is not a party to any dealings you have with a business found in the directory.

14. Marketplace: listings and escrow

In motherboard listings BiosHelp is not the seller. The platform is an intermediary that connects buyer and seller; the condition of the item, its delivery and its payment are the parties' own responsibility.

Only accounts enabled by the administration may post listings, and listings are reviewed before publication.

In the optional escrow flow, payment is held by the platform until the buyer confirms delivery. If a dispute arises we hear both sides and apply a reasonable resolution: releasing the amount to the seller or refunding the buyer. This is a good-faith intermediation service, not arbitration or insurance.

The phone number and contact details in your listing are published by you; enter them knowing they will be public.

15. Limitation of liability

Please read this section carefully — it matters, given the nature of the work.

The files we sell are technical references intended for use by experienced technicians. Regarding BIOS files in particular:

  • Flashing a BIOS to the wrong model can render a device unbootable. Verifying model, revision and chip compatibility before writing is your responsibility.
  • Boardview and schematic files may not match manufacturer documentation exactly; verify by measuring on the board.
  • HD Images packages are photographs only; they cannot be flashed.

Accordingly, BiosHelp is not liable for hardware damage, data loss, loss of business or indirect damages arising from the use of the files. Our liability is in all cases limited to the amount you paid for the file concerned.

This limitation does not exclude mandatory consumer-law provisions, nor liability arising from our intent or gross negligence.

16. Service availability

We work to keep the site running without interruption, but temporary outages may occur for maintenance, updates or technical faults. We try to announce planned maintenance in advance.

Your files are not lost during an outage; when it ends, your archive is exactly where it was.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The current version is always published on this page with its date at the top.

If a change materially affects your rights, we will tell you by email or a prominent notice before it takes effect. Changes are not retroactive: files you bought earlier remain governed by the terms in force at that time.

18. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye.

For transactions made as a consumer, the Consumer Arbitration Committees and Consumer Courts have jurisdiction according to the applicable monetary thresholds. You may apply to the committee at your place of residence or where the transaction took place.

For commercial disputes, the courts and enforcement offices at the location of the company's registered office have jurisdiction.

Please write to us before going to court; most problems are solved with a single email.
